Background- 8 1/2 year old, male Doberman, 40kg, (fit and not over weight!) with joint stiffness and swollen hock joint.
I’ve previously tried the UK’s leading joint supplement for dogs, which I don’t believe made a lot of difference, but while it was on offer I was happy to do so. The price then tripled so I did more research and found an alternative product which was a fraction of the price and had virtually the same ingredients and also supposedly made in the UK. I used this for several months, along with Green Lipped muscle powder, but once again, I didn’t see any form of improvement and the hock joint remained swollen.
A recent visit to a Pets corner shop, pointed me towards Pharmaquin and following more research, I could see the difference in the ingredients and that there was no added “stuff”, just what was required. (I would have bought it from this store if they’d sold the 1kg tub, sorry Pets Corner!)
I’m pleased to say I’ve noticed a big difference to the swelling of his hock joint and he’s getting around alot better than previously.
