This BETTALIFE® equine calmer contains 10,000mg of our Magnesium Mineral Complex per serving to support relaxation, aid muscle relaxation & manage anxious behaviour in addition to 5000mg of Essential Amino Acid L-Tryptophan per serving to assist the production of Serotonin, the ‘happy chemical’ to promote calm. CalmaPRO+ also contains nearly 3000mg of Tri-Calcium Citrate per serving which enhances the absorption of Magnesium and also helps regulate neuromuscular function and help prevent skeletal diseases. The formula also includes Vitamin B1 & B6 minerals to support overall wellbeing and maintain a healthy nervous system.
Containing no prohibited substances under Clean Sport guidelines, CalmaPRO+ equine calmer is safe for competition use with no withdrawal period and is suitable for all horses and ponies.
This formula is a palatable powder to be added to feed. We recommend 20g per day (2 level scoops) as a maintenance feeding rate, which can be doubled during high stress situations such as environmental changes or competition. It is suitable for both long and short term use.

CalmaPRO+ can be fed in addition to any of the other BETTALIFE® products, but is especially compatible with PharmaTRAC Total Digestive Support as the digestive system is usually compromised in highly strung, anxious or stressed horses.

I tried this when moving my horse yards as he was very spooky (jumping out of his skin/muscles tensing up) & getting highly strung. Within a few weeks I noticed a big difference in him! He was much more relaxed and workable. His schooling was more focused & hacks became pleasant again, so much so that I was mostly walking on the buckle end. If he did spook at something, it was much much less dramatic and he quickly relaxed again, rather than it taking over the entire ride.

Absolutely love this calmer, I have a new 4 year old warmblood who is very new to his ridden career and this product has really helped Jonty to settle into his ridden work and keep focus.

Love this product! We have 2 horses in particular who were really challenging for very different reasons…1 being an anxious & highley strung youngster & the other being a a dressage horse that became extremely anxious when anywhere but the arena. The youngster is now rideable & enjoying his work. We combine his with pharmatrac to really help his nervous system and the improvement has been fantastic. The dressage horse now is much more confident outside of the arena & now even hacks out! We never thought we’d see the day but shes such a happier horse now. Highly recommend!
