PharmaPlast Ultimate Topline is more than the name on the tub – it not only supports Topline development, but thanks to its research driven formula it also aids muscle recovery & repair, supports muscle development and encourages healthy hoof & coat condition.

Essential Amino Acids

PharmaPlast Ultimate Topline is, like all BETTALIFE® products, formulated to give maximum support at a low feeding rate, with no fillers or bulking agents. 20% of PharmaPlast is Essential Amino Acids – these are a high-quality building blocks of molecular and connective tissue, and our formula contains every single Essential Amino Acid that your horse requires. Individual Amino Acids are absorbed into the bloodstream to support structural elements such as muscle tissue, collagen, or hormones such as insulin.

Banana Powder

PharmaPlast Ultimate Topline has an appetising banana flavour thanks to the inclusion of Banana Powder – not only is it a natural sweetener which improves palatability of the supplement without adding artificial sugars, it is also an organic source of potassium, which supports muscle recovery, aids recovery time, and helps to release lactic acid from muscles.

Waxy Maize

One of the best things about PharmaPlast Ultimate Topline is that it is a non-heating formula – we achieve this by using Waxy Maize which is a long chain carbohydrate. 30% of the formula is Waxy Maize which offers protein and nutrients to the horse to support their recovery time. In addition, Waxy Maize is seen to improve absorption rates of protein in hard feed, and increase muscle strength, all while not fizzing up the horse.

Selenium

With BETTALIFE®’s fixed formula, we can guarantee every scoop of PharmaPlast contains the recommended daily serving of Selenium. We use Selenium in conjunction with Vitamin E to support muscle health as well as the horse’s immune system. In addition, Selenium is an antioxidant and will assist in preventing free radicals from damaging cell structures, proteins & lipids. Our Selenium source is Sodium Selenite which is seen to have a high level of absorbency in horses.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a vital antioxidant and we include it in PharmaPlast alongside Selenium to support the entire horse as deficiency in either one can increase oxidation in the cell. It has been seen that Vitamin E has excellent anti-inflammatory properties and targets multiple areas of the horse’s body. As horses can not produce Vitamin E themselves, a horse undergoing moderate amounts of physical activity is likely to benefit from Vitamin E supplementation to support cell function.

Spirulina

One of the key ingredients in PharmaPlast is Spirulina – our formula contains 20% Spirulina which supports muscular and connective tissue. Spirulina is an excellent source of Amino Acids which are the building blocks of muscle, connective tissue & hair, therefore helping to improve coat condition and hoof health, as well as supporting the immune system and reducing inflammation.

Spirulina is known as a bit of superfood for both horses & humans and contains many vitamins and minerals.

DHA

DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) makes up 10% of PharmaPlast. Ideal for horses in work, DHA is highly beneficial for supporting hard-working muscles, as well as offering anti-inflammatory properties and supporting a glowing coat condition.

The Remaining Parts

There’s a bit more to PharmaPlast than just Waxy Maize, Essential Amino Acids, Spirulina Powder, DHA, Banana Powder, Vitamin E & Selenium. We also include Flax, Bioperine® and range of vits & mins. Flax not only supports the digestive tract, but is also a shown to benefit the immune system, coat, skin, hooves, muscles and nervous system. We include Bioperine® alongside our ingredients as a bioavailability enhancer to help the horse get the most of the ingredients in our formula and improve the efficacy of the product.
