Steve Heal and Hagonda Celebrate Third 5* Completion in 12 Months at Pau

BETTALIFE Supported Rider Steve Heal and Hagonda have celebrated another significant milestone, completing their third 5* event in just 12 months at Pau, France.

Pau is one of the key fixtures on the international eventing calendar, with its challenging cross-country course providing a major test of horse and rider. Steve and Hagonda finished 18th in the CCI5-L*, delivering another strong result on the international eventing stage. Starting with a dressage score of 34.0, the pair tackled the demanding cross-country course with a clear round before completing the show jumping to secure their place in the top 20. For Steve and Hagonda, completing this five-star competition marks another important achievement in a hugely consistent 12-month period, bringing their total to three five-star completions in a year.

BETTALIFE has worked with Steve for several years as a Brand Ambassador, following his progress with Hagonda as the pair reached new milestones together. In 2025, they successfully completed their first five-star event, marking a major achievement in their eventing career. Since then, they’ve continued to build on that success, with their latest completion at Pau adding another fantastic result to their record.
