PharmaQuin is our research-driven supplement for joint health and contains the ingredients that we know support joint comfort & mobility.
We don’t use any fillers or bulking agents and we only include ingredients that are actually beneficial to the horse.
Glucosamine:
40% of each serving of PharmaQuin Joint Complete HA is Glucosamine and we include it in our formula as we think it’s a vital component of any joint supplement. Glucosamine is known as the building block of cartilage (which is the structural tissue between joints). Supplementing your horse’s diet with Glucosamine can help to slow the deterioration of cartilage.
Our formula contains 2 different types of Glucosamine (Glucosamine HCL & N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine) to further support the cartilage with smaller molecule sizes which may allow penetration further into the joint.
We recommend Glucosamine is fed alongside Chondroitin to improve its efficacy – so that’s why we ensure adequate levels of both in our supplement!
MSM:
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) makes up 40% of each serving of PharmaQuin Joint Complete HA. MSM is seen to support the horse’s natural anti-inflammatory response and supports joint comfort as can offer a mild pain relief. MSM is a readily available form of Sulphur which contributes towards repair and maintenance of collagen which is the structural protein found in connective tissue.
Chondroitin:
One of the key ingredients in PharmaQuin Joint Complete HA is Chondroitin Sulphate – our formula contains 16% Chondroitin, meaning your horse will consume 1600mg per 10g serving or a huge 4800mg on a 30g full support serving. It is seen to help support cartilage and connective tissue regeneration and maintain joint comfort. We use the purest quality source of Chondroitin, with greater anti-inflammatory properties than cheaper alternatives; as it’s an extremely expensive ingredient, many other joint supplements only include a limited amount of it in their formulas, or use a less pure form.
Hyaluronic Acid:
