What is the loading dose for PharmaQuin?
A rough guide would be

200-400kg Pony:
15g a day (1 scoop) loading phase
5g a day (1/3 of a scoop) maintenance phase

400kg – 600kg Horse
30g a day (2 scoops) loading phase
10g a day (2/3 of a scoop) maintenance phase

Are your supplements suitable for horses prone to laminitis?
We would advise you check with your vet if your horse is undergoing treatment for laminitis. We have customers who feed our products to horses with laminitis, again, please contact us if you have any queries. Our products contain no fillers or bulking agents and no hidden sugars.

Does PharmaTRAC balance the hind gut as well as the foregut?
Yes, PharmaTRAC targets both the fore and hindgut. It helps to maintain an optimal pH level and gastric environment. When combined with correct management and forage is suitable to be fed to horses prone to gastric ulcers (again, please contact your vet if your horse is undergoing treatment).

Can you overdose on the PharmaTRAC?
No, you can’t overdose on PharmaTRAC. You can feed as much or as little as you require, there will be no ill-effects.

If I feed PharmaTRAC on a daily basis can my horse become resistant?No, there is nothing in PharmaTRAC which a horse may build up a tolerance to. Feeding PharmaTRAC on a daily basis will help maintain your horse’s digestive system.

Can I feed all 3 supplements together?
Yes, you can feed all 3 products together. We have a number of customers who feed all of our products to their horses with great success. Feeding all 3 will help maintain healthy joints, digestive system and promote optimum muscle condition and topline without heating up your horse.

Can I feed your supplements alongside medication?
Yes, we have no prohibited substances or any ingredients in our products known to interact negatively with any medication. If you are concerned, please contact us and we can work with you and your vet to best support your horses.

How long before I start to see a difference with your products?
This can vary between each horse. Customers report experiencing a benefit from PharmaQuin in as little as 7-10 days and often earlier, but it varies from horse to horse. PharmaTRAC can offer quick support during times of stress when fed at the loading dose. Results from use of PharmaPlast are often seen within 4-8 weeks of feeding at the loading dose.

Does my horse need to be in work to benefit from PharmaPlast?
PharmaPlast will work best when combined with correct work to support muscle development and topline. However, a horse can be known to travel up to 7 miles a day while on turnout, which makes you aware of how much they move even when just turned out in a paddock for a day!

Do I need to change my feed when I start using one of your products?
No but speaking to a member of our team about your horse is advisable in more unique cases.

My horse has been on steroids, can any of your products help?
Steroids can kill the good bacteria in your horse’s gut, we would advise PharmaTRAC as it helps to maintain an optimal pH and contributes towards normal fermentation patters for your horse.
